So - Prof. Ruiz was right when he had said the video on his blog was from Dawkins and not an excerpt from Waking Life (I must've listened to both in a row and mixed up the two)...
Anyways, this is taken from his blog and makes an interesting point on what our brains' interpret as our reality and an interesting note that in our memories we are not the same person, as matter changes in our make-up over time. That part occurs around 10 1/2 minutes in...but nevertheless, it is a very enlightening video.
